Concert Attendance Essay

On Friday December 9th, 2011 I attended the Balti more than Symphony Orchestras Holiday cirque de la Symphonie performance. The main focus for the design was the Cirque performances to Christmas music. I was a passive listener as the Cirque performances took most of my attention. I enjoyed the music thoroughly as it was performed beautifully but the Cirque performers were definitely the take for me. Pieces performed entangle: A Christmas Festival, O, Holy Night, Sugar Rum Cherry & bleep Toot, Tootie Toot, Sleigh Ride, Skaters Waltz, Farandole from LArlesienne Suite No. 2, credit line from the Chanuka Suite, Music from Capriccio Espagnol, Deck the Halls, Tico Tico No Fuba, Ride of the Valkyries, Trepak, Peanut frail Brigade, Music from Polar Express, Lille Bolero Boy, Waltz of the Flowers, and We wish you a cheery Christmas. The Orchestra instruments included in the concert were Violins, the lenient, the repeat, Snare Drums, Flutes, Clarine ts, Cymbals, Chimes, Triangles, cellos, Tubas, and the genus Viola. Seating was as follows: The Conductor was in the center in front of the inviolable Orchestra. The Violins were directly in front and to the left side of the peak in front of the Conductor. On the left hind end the Violins, was the delicate and the Harp was to the left of the lightly.

Behind the Flutes and Clarinets were the Snare Drums. To the ri ght side of the stage were the Violas, Cel! los and riches. Behind those were Tubas and Bass Drums. The Cirque Performers performed in front of the wide orchestra. The show was definitely well rounded with pieces from different measure periods. pickings us from the timeless Nutcracker to a more pr esent Polar Express.
